Ingredients
- 1 deep-dish pie shell
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 3 ounces Gruyère cheese, grated
- 8 ounces mild cheddar cheese, grated
- 16 ounces thick-sliced bacon

Instructions

1Fry the bacon and then crumble it.

2Put the eggs, cheese, heavy cream, and bacon in a mixing bowl and mix with a hand electric mixer.

3Using a slotted spoon, spoon the bacon, cheese, egg, and cream mixture into the pie shell.

4If there is room in the pie shell, add the remaining egg and cream mixture.

5Cook on a cookie sheet in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center of the quiche is firm.

6Enjoy immediately or refrigerate and reheat later.
