- 150gr sugar
- 1dl redwine vinegar
- 2dl redwine

Instructions

1Slowly melt 150gr sugar until it turns a golden brown caramel.

2When the sugar has melted into caramel, pour in 1dl of red wine vinegar and 2dl of red wine.

3Simmer gently over low heat for 20–30 minutes. The gastrique should not become too thick, as it will continue to thicken as it cools.
