Aunt Linda's Rosemary Pecans
This has been a family holiday tradition for several decades running. It's something we make in batches and hand out as gifts.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs of pecan halves
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 4 Tbsp dried rosemary (6 Tbsp if fresh)
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- Sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Instructions

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees, 275 if convection

2Melt butter in a small saucepan; mix with oil and spices besides the cayenne

3Pour the mixture over pecans in a large bowl. Dust lightly with cayenne pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly until pecans are well coated.

4Spread in a single layer across baking sheets (2 half sheets should suffice) and transfer to oven.

5Bake for 20 minutes and remove to stir. Continue to bake, stirring every 10 minutes, until desired texture is reached. Probably 30-40m total.
