Ingredients
- 1 spoon butter, for vegetarians plant-based oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 big carrot, diced
- 250 g cabbage, sliced
- 300g water
- 100 g millet
- Teaspoon of dried thyme
- dried plums, handfull diced
- 100 g of fresh spinach, chopped
- salt, to preference

Instructions

1Melt the butter and add the onions on low fire.

2After 5 minutes add the carrot and cabbage. Stir until soften.

3Add the water and let it warm till boil.

4Add the thyme, the dried plums and salt.

5Add millet, turn fire till low so it can simmer for 20 minutes.

6Get the pan from the fire and add the spinach.

7Let it rest for another 5 minutes. Enjoy!

8Variation: carrot can also be turnips or root celery
