Lemon Custard

A simple set lemon cream custard, optionally served in hollowed-out lemon rinds.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • Vanilla
  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream, for topping

Instructions

    Simmer the cream and sugar together. Add the vanilla, then add the lemon juice toward the end.

    Pour into a bowl or hollowed-out lemon rinds and let set in the fridge.
