- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter

Instructions

1Whisk the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl.

2In a small bowl whisk the milk, egg, and oil. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir gently just until combined — lumps are fine.
