Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water (egg wash)

Instructions

1Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).

2Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

3Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet into a large square on a floured surface.

4Cut into 6 equal rectangles.

5Place rectangles on the baking sheet.

6Use a sharp knife to score a shallow border 1/2-inch inside the edge of each rectangle (do not cut all the way through).

7Prick the interior centers with a fork.

8In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese and minced garlic until smooth.

9Sauté chopped spinach in olive oil for 1 minute until wilted; squeeze out all excess moisture thoroughly.

10Spread a tablespoon of the garlic cream cheese inside the scored border of each pastry.

11Top with a layer of wilted spinach and a generous sprinkle of crumbled feta.

12Brush the outer pastry borders with the egg wash.

13Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the edges are puffed up high and deeply golden.
