Cheesy Family Baked Ziti

Ingredients
- 1 lb Dry ziti or penne pasta
- 1 jar (24oz) Your favorite brand of marinara sauce
- 1 can (14.5oz) Diced tomatoes (un-drained)
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dried Italian seasoning mix
- To taste Salt and black pepper

Instructions

1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large 9x13 inch baking dish.

2Boil a large pot of salted water . Cook the ziti pasta until it is just shy of al dente (about 2 minutes less than box directions), then drain.

3In a very large bowl, combine the boiled pasta, jar of marinara sauce, un-drained diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

4Toss gently.

5Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing out the top.

6Scatter the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella and the parmesan cheese over the top surface.
