Ingredients
- 4 large Apples (such as Granny Smith or Fuji), peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 4 tbsp Cold unsalted butter , cut into small pieces

Instructions

1Preheat your kitchen oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch square baking dish.

2Arrange the sliced, peeled apples in an even, thick layer across the bottom of the greased baking dish.

3In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the rolled oats, flour , packed brown sugar , and ground cinnamon until fully combined.

4Drop the cold butter pieces into the oat mixture.

5Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to press and work the butter into the dry oats until the mixture clumps up into coarse crumbs.

6Scatter the crumble mixture evenly over the top of the apples.

7Bake for 30-35 minutes until the apple juices bubble on the sides and the oatmeal topping is deeply golden.
