  • 1½ tsp (7.5 ml) vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120 ml) water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) white sugar
  • Carbonated water, as needed

Instructions

    Combine the vanilla extract, water, and sugar in a pot.

    Boil the mixture until it reduces to about 5 oz (150 ml) syrup.

    To make the finished soda, combine 1 volume of syrup with 5 volumes of carbonated water.
